Social
In the Crèdit Andorrà Foundation we place great importance on our social programs and we pay special attention to activities aimed at senior citizens.
Hence, we provide a wide range of resources for this social group to stay active and take part in society, with computer courses, workshops and talks on specific subjects that take place in the social centre for activities and education named L’espai. Moreover, the Foundation has a group of voluntary senior citizens that has formally been founded as the Voluntary Senior Citizens’ Association (AVIM).
Another social sector to whom we pay special attention is that of people who suffer from illnesses that have big social impact such as Alzheimer’s, multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, cancer, mental illnesses, diabetes and celiac disease.
Our aim is to improve their quality of life and help them to overcome the ailment that both they and those surround them suffer.
Through the Crèdit Andorrà Foundation, we organize conferences and workshops as well as creating informative material for the people suffering from illness, those around them and society in general. In addition, together with the Government of Andorra we promote awareness-creating activities with the National Strategy for Nutrition, Sport and Health (ENNES).
We also collaborate with the Special Andorran Olympics in order to encourage grass roots sport among disabled people.
